Pinterest has a lot of great ideas. You can find plenty of amazing tips on home decor, easy and tasty recipes, awesome DIY projects, smart outfit ideas, and so much more.

And when it comes to fashion hacks, Pinterest has plenty of those too!

And when I talk about fashion hacks, I mean budget-friendly, time-saving clothing tips. These are tricks that are all pretty easy to do, and will make you look great before heading out.

Down below I gathered some of the best Pinterest fashion hacks that are worth trying and actually work. So check them out and let me know what you think!

1. Use Stale Bread to Clean Suede Shoes

If you happen to have some stale bread in your kitchen, don’t throw it away just yet.

You can actually use it to clean your dirty and dusty suede shoes. The rough texture of the bread acts like sandpaper that when gently rubbed over suede, takes the dirt off.

Probably one of the best Pinterst hacks on this list!

2. De-Pilling Sweaters With a Razor

With overtime use, your favorite sweaters (and other clothing pieces) are going to start to pill. So to easily de-pill them, all you have to do is lay them on a flat surface and softly shave the sweater with a razor using short strokes. Clean the excess off after with a lint brush or tape, and you’re all good!

3. Iron Your Collar Using a Hair Straightener

If you think that your hair straightener is only for hair, then think again. You can also use your handy iron to smooth wrinkles on your shirt’s collar and even between shirt buttons. Honestly, that’s pretty helpful for when you’re in a rush!

4. Get Rid of Leather Scuffs With a Banana

This fashion hack might sound silly, but it really does works well for getting rid of leather scuffs.

All you have to do is rub the inside of a banana peel on the scuffed area of your leather item. Then use a soft cloth to get rid of the residue, and use a clean part of that cloth to rub vigorously in circular motions to buff and shine the leather.

5. Clean Off Your White Shoes With Baking Soda

White sneakers are comfortable, cute, and perfect for so many outfits. And because you probably wear them a lot, they’re gonna get dirty. But this shouldn’t stop you from pairing them with your looks.

You can easily clean them with just a few basic home ingredients: baking soda and vinegar.

Just mix equal parts vinegar, baking soda, and hot water until you’ve made a paste. Then apply it to your shoes using a toothbrush, and let it sit for at least 1 hours. Then rinse them off under warm water and let them air dry.

6. De-Wrinkle Your Shirt

If you don’t have a lot of time in the morning and your shirt needs ironing, hang it in the bathroom before you take a hot shower. The steam will help get the wrinkles out pretty quickly.

That or just toss it in the dryer until the wrinkles are all worked out!

7. Remove Sweat Stains with Lemon Juice

Here’s a simple and all-natural way to remove sweat stains from your white clothes.

You just have to mix equal parts of lemon juice and water in a bowl and rub it on the affected areas to clean the stain. Then, leave this on for 20 minutes before rinsing.

8. Break in New Shoes

When it comes to not getting blisters from your new kicks, try applying some baby powder, petroleum jelly, or deodorant to the heel of your foot before putting them on.

9. Keep Your Jeans From Fading

Your pants are one of the most expensive pieces of clothing you use on a daily basis. So to maintain their dark color, try adding a 1/2 cup of white vinegar to the final rinse cycle of your laundry wash.

Whether you’re looking for some quick clothing fixes or you just want to try some cute fashion ideas, these Pinterest fashion hacks from the list above have got you covered.

They’re all easy to do, and will save you so much time and money. And the best thing is, they’re FREE. So give them a try and let me know what you think!

  1. I once tried to shave the pills of a sweater and ended up completely destroying it, I was devastated. Gave it another try (on a sweater I didn’t love) and it went perfectly. Life is fun sometimes, haha.
