There are those days where you leave the house thinking you look great and as soon as you look into a mirror at work or school, you realize your hair is out of place or your makeup isn’t right. And then it can be a frustrating task to get it back the way you want it.. I’m pretty sure we’ve all had days like those.

But thankfully there are plenty of beauty hacks out there to make situations like these either easier or non-existent. I mean being a girl isn’t easy (unless you’re not much of a makeup person), so these kinds of tips and tricks can help us out so much! And down below I found some great beauty hacks for you to try out. Let me know what you think!

DIY Makeup Remover Pads

I really love this idea! Not only do you have a gentle solution for taking makeup off your sensitive skin, but you also know exactly what’s going into it. Pretty sweet right?

Cornstarch Instead of Dry Shampoo

2

Found from The Krazy Coupon Lady: See Source Below

If you’re in need of an easy inexpensive solution for getting rid of oily hair, try applying cornstarch to your roots with a makeup brush.

Tic Tac Hairpin Container

3

Found from Lovely Indeed: See Source Below

It seems like we all have trouble with disappearing hairpins. It’s like they always vanish into thin air. And that’s why I really love this cute DIY hairpin container; keeps them all in one place!

Painted Pins

Now that you have a great way to store your hairpins, how about decorating them? It definitely adds a bit of pop to your hairdo and it’s a simple DIY project.

Dryer Sheet Brush Hack

5

Found from The Krazy Coupon Lady: See Source Below

If you’re having a static hair day, try putting a dryer sheet over the bristles of your brush (or comb). This will tame it and keep it in place… also, it’s a great way to keep your brush/comb clean of any broken off hair.

Aluminum Foil Curl

6

Found from Blupla: See Source Below

Want an easy and fast way to curl your hair? Try wrapping them up into tinfoil and then press heating it between a flat iron.

5-Minute Beach Curls

7

Found from Popsugar: See Source Below

Now if you want a lazy way to create cute summertime curls, then twist your hair tightly and heat it up with a blow dryer.

Contour Brush with Bobby Pin

8

Found from Amy Tanyan: See Source Below

Brushes can get expensive (at least the good ones), so this is a great way to save some money and get an easy contoured look.

Hairspray Bobby Pins

9

Found from The Krazy Coupon Lady: See Source Below

Bobby pins always seem to fall out so easily when we need to keep in a cute hairstyle. And that’s why I think this is a great beauty hack. Just hairspray some bobby pins and put them in place for a stronger hold.

Eyedrop Mascara Moistener

10

Found from The Fashion Spot: See Source Below

If you want to prevent old mascara from drying out, try adding some eye drops to make it last longer.

Victory Roll Curler

11

Found from Buzzfeed: See Source Below

It’s my opinion that no one had the most fabulous hair like the women from the 1940’s, and that’s why I think this is a great beauty hack. Try giving yourself some cute victory rolls by trying out this hair roller!

Easy Natural Teeth Whitener

12

Found from Cute DIY Projects: See Source Below

Lemon and baking soda are great natural bleachers. Which is why I’m not surprised that they’re used for teeth whiteners. Super easy and a lot more healthy right?

Beauty hacks are a great way to make our lives (as women) a whole lot easier. There are tons of them, but they don’t always do what they say they will. But thankfully there are quite a few that do work and are tried and tested. So give them a go and see which ones you like the best!

Now if you have any questions on any of these beauty hacks, feel free to ask me in the comments down below! I’d love to hear them!

Finally, we have a post on how to lose 15 pounds in 30 days if you’re interested. As well as a guide on the best American crew products (should you know any men who need a little bit of styling advice!)
