Beauty hacks have always been one of my favorite things.
They’ve helped me save so much time applying makeup, keeping my hair looking good, and even saved me money by not wasting product.
These shortcuts have made it so that I can leave the house looking great, and when I see myself in a mirror 3 hours later, I’m still looking good.
And if you’re tired of feeling like you’re not getting the most out of your beauty routine or the money you spend, then these time-saving tips will make your life a whole lot easier.
So scroll down and check out these 20 beauty life hacks that’ll make you look and feel incredible.
1. DIY Makeup Remover Pads
I really love this skin care hack! Not only do you have a gentle solution for taking makeup off your sensitive skin, but you also know exactly what’s going into it. It’s a great way to have control over what’s going onto your skin.
2. Use Cornstarch Instead of Dry Shampoo
If you’re in need of an easy inexpensive solution for getting rid of oily hair, try applying cornstarch to your roots with a makeup brush. It might not be perfect, but it’s great for when you’re in a rush!
3. Tic Tac Hairpin Container
It seems like we all have trouble with disappearing hairpins. It’s feel like they always vanish into thin air.
And that’s why I really love this cute DIY hairpin container; keeps them all in one place and it looks so pretty!

Now that you have a great way to store your hairpins, how about decorating them? It definitely adds a bit of pop to your hairstyle and it’s a simple DIY project.

If you’re having a static hair day, try putting a dryer sheet over the bristles of your brush (or comb).
This will help tame your static hair and keep it in place.
Also, it’s a great way to keep your brush or comb clean of any hair buildup!
6. Aluminum Foil Curl
Want an easy and fast way to curl your hair? Try wrapping them up into tinfoil and then press heating it with a flat iron. It might take a bit of practice, but if you don’t have your own hair curler, it can be a cute way to style your hair.
7. 5-Minute Beach Curls
If you want a lazy way to create cute summertime curls, then twist your hair tightly and heat it up with a blow dryer. Now you’re ready for the beach!

Brushes can get expensive (at least the good ones), so this is a great way to save some money and get an easy contoured look.
Jut put a bobby pin onto your blush brush and you’ll have a contour brush without spending an extra $20.
9. Hairspray Your Bobby Pins to Keep Them in Place
Bobby pins seem to fall out so easily when we need to keep in a cute hairstyle. And that’s why I think this is a great beauty hack.
Just hairspray some bobby pins and put them in place for a stronger hold.
10. Put Vaseline on Before Perfuming Yourself
If you want your perfume to last longer when out, then try applying Vaseline before spraying. It’ll make the scent on your skin last and you’ll get so much more out of your favorite perfume.
11. Blot With a Coffee Filter
If you’re looking for some beauty hacks for the face, then this is a good one to remember!
For those who don’t feel like going to a beauty store to get oil blotters (and wanna save some money), just head over to your cupboard and use a coffee filter to get rid of the excess oils on your face.
12. Exfoliate Chapped Lips With an Old Mascara Wand
I hate having chapped lips with dead skin, but this hack will definitely help me when I want them to look nice and smooth. Just make sure your old mascara wand has been thoroughly cleaned before use!
13. Stack Curled Hair & Spray for Amazing Volume
If your hair is already curled, but you want it to look more full (and like you did it today), then try stacking it at the top of your head and spraying the ends. Then let it fall down; this will give it extra volume.

Yeah, we don’t all have the time (or money) to stock up on our beauty products. So if you find your gel eyeliner growing thin, just pop it in the microwave for a few seconds to freshen it up!
15. Apply Mascara to Grey Roots
If you don’t feel like getting your hair touched up this week, try applying mascara (that matches your hair color) to your roots. But just make sure to rub off some of the excess product so that you’re not getting clumps.
16. Use Lip Brush to Apply Mascara on Lower Lashes
I think applying mascara to the bottom lashes is one of the hardest things to do. You think you’ve got it until the wand barely touches your skin and then it’s everywhere.
And don’t even get me started if you have to sneeze; it looks like you just became the Joker.
But that’s what lip brushes are for apparently; making mascara just a little easier to apply.
17. Use a Lighter Eyeliner on the Bottom Lid
This might just be one of the best beauty hacks for having your eye makeup look on point.
If you want your eyes to pop, use a lighter colored eyeliner on your bottom lid. Also, stay away from using liner on your tear duct so that your eyes can look even bigger.
18. Put Deodorant on the Bridge of Your Nose
If the sun just isn’t letting up and it’s getting pretty hot out, apply deodorant to the bridge of your nose to keep it from getting sweaty from your sunglasses.
19. Use Petroleum Jelly to Avoid Mascara Clumps
Ever in a rush in the morning and trying to get your mascara just right when it decides to clump? Yeah, not fun.
But that’s why petroleum jelly is so handy (also known as Vaseline). Apply a little to your lashes before putting on mascara, and you’ll be able to stay clump free!
20. Use a Silverware Divider for Bathroom Drawers
Whether you want to use a silverware divider for your hygiene or makeup products, this is a great way to keep things organized and easy to reach.
Definitely great, especially if you’re in a rush in the morning and don’t feel like digging through your drawer to find that one thing you need.
