Sometimes when you’re reading a book, you might accidentally make the wrong highlight which can be quite frustrating.

But there’s no reason to stress over it. With just a dab of cotton soaked in lemon juice, your wrong highlight will be as good as gone. Here’s a quick Youtube tutorial for getting rid of highlighter with a cotton swab and lemon juice if you want to see someone doing it!

2. Fix Your Missing Keys Problem With a Launch Pad

Almost everyone seems to be guilty of this, but thankfully, a great way to make sure you never lose your keys is to have a launchpad.

A launch pad is a place where you keep everything you need to leave the house. So think your wallet, keys, extra change, purse, and anything else you need in your pockets.

Also, putting everything you need there as soon as you enter through the door is a good habit to create, and one of the most helpful lifestyle hacks.

3. How to Quickly De-Wrinkle Your Clothes

Have a wrinkled shirt you need to de-wrinkled fast? Then just throw a few ice cubes in the dryer with the wrinkled clothing and watch it all disappear.

As the ice melts and the water turns to vapor, it’ll help to make your clothes wrinkle-free. So if you’re a pretty busy person and you find this happening to you at least a couple of times in a month, then I’d definitely add this to your list of easy life hacks to try!

4. Quick and Easy Campfire

If you’re headed out to go camping in the near future but being able to quickly start up a campfire kind of makes you nervous, then don’t forget this life hack!

Just use some dry lint stuffed in a toilet roll and you’ll be good to go!

5. Hide Money in a Lip Balm Container

If you’re worried about your wallet getting stolen when out in the city or traveling, a good idea is to use one of your basically finished lip balm containers. Just thoroughly clean it out and put some rolled up money inside. Nobody will even guess there’s cash in it!

6. Get Paint Off the Carpet With Denatured Alcohol

What would you do if your best carpet was ruined by paint? Well, you might have a bad day.

But there’s no need to worry about it; with some denatured alcohol, you can have your carpet brought back to life.

Pour some denatured alcohol on the rug and scrub away the paint, then use a rag with a similar color to the carpet and wipe off the alcohol.

7. Use a Pool Noodle to Fill Your Mop Bucket

If you don’t have a water hose at home, here’s a simple way to easily fill up your mop bucket. Use a pool noodle as a water hose, attach it to your faucet, and this will help you to make sure things are splatter-free.

8. Use Plastic Wrap When Measuring

Instead of directly filling the measuring cup with peanut butter, try lining your measuring cup with a thin layer of plastic wrap so things stay clean and sticky-free.

It also works well with condensed milk, cream, honey, and any other sticky or oily ingredients.

9. Command Hooks for the Kitchen

If you want a great way to create counter space for your kitchen (especially if you don’t have a lot), then try using command hooks.

All you have to do is attach them to the wall above the countertop and hang a basket or wrack from them. You can also store mason jars with your cooking utensils in them, spices, dish soap, etc.

10. Drawer Dividers To Keep Your Dresser Organized

For an easy organized drawer (especially for all your small clothing pieces), try using a divider. It’s so easy to make (or buy) and will keep your things clutter-free and easy to grab. They can be used in dresser, kitchen, and even bathroom drawers.

11. Hang Multiple Pieces of Clothing Using Soda Tabs

This tip is super smart and a major space saver. You just need some soda tabs and you can easily double your closet space. Just loop the tabs onto a hanger and hang the second hangers through the tab’s holes.

If you’re finding your closet space to be overcrowded or easily getting messy, then adding this idea to your list of useful life hacks to try is a good idea!

12. Disposable Hair Traps

If you’re someone who has long hair (or you have a family member who does), then you definitely need these disposable hair traps. This trick will save you some serious cleaning and declogging time.

Update: Product in image is not currently available, but here’s another alternative option for a disposable hair trap. I haven’t personally used it, so make sure to read the reviews to see if this is something you want.

13. Clean Your Keyboard With Sticky Notes

If your keyboard keys are looking a bit dusty and dirty, all you need is a sticky note to start cleaning. Press the sticky side in between the keys to pick up any dust and crumbs, and wipe off with a clean, dry cloth afterwards.

14. Use Paint to Differentiate Your Keys

Keep your keys easily identifiable by simply painting the ends with different colored nail polish so you know exactly which one to grab.

Probably one of the best daily life hacks that’ll save you some time!

15. Dripless Popsicles

If you bought some popsicles, try putting a cupcake liner under your popsicle to create a drip catcher for those extra hot days. You’ll find it super helpful for keeping your hands and the floor clean. Also, this is probably one of the best life hacks if you have kids!

16. Pegboard Kitchen Organizer
