The summer is coming and so are school holidays, which means kids will be at home and in need of entertainment. Before you give in to the unrealistic idea that your children need to be entertained at all times when they’re not in school, remember that in summer even the most active kids need to take a break from organized activities and find ways to keep themselves busy.
And like most parents, you probably want your kids having a ton of fun over the summer, but you don’t always want them on the computers. So down below, I found some awesome dollar store hacks will help beat your kids’ boredom on a budget. So check them out and let me know what you think!
Hoola Hoop Hideout

Summer day camp is an excellent way to keep your kids busy. Children just love hideouts and will definitely enjoy some time in nature. They will be even more excited if you get them involved in making it. All you need is a hula hoop, safety pins, twine or rope, tulle and/or ribbon, sheets, scissors, cushions, and blankets.
