It can be so easy to indulge in unhealthy food and decide to not think about the calories or how it’ll make you feel the next day. I understand it, I’ve been there SO MANY times!
But I also want you to know that you don’t have to feel guilty about it. In fact, there are plenty of foods that’ll help you feel a ton better the next day. So check these out, try them, and let us know what you think!
Quick Important Note:
If you want an AWESOME guide that’ll help you lose weight (even when you’re eating out), then check out Eat This, Not That! here.
Basically… you don’t need to diet to lose weight and can STILL go to McDonald’s.
1. Chia Seeds
Chia seeds are packed of antioxidants and fiber. They can help you with bloating and that no-so-healthy feeling you have the next day after eating 5 slices of pizza. They also help you stay fuller longer, which is a plus if you’re trying to take in less calories.
2. Flax Seeds
Flax seeds are nature’s miracle grain that are high in essential omega fatty acids. And being rich in fiber and other nutrients, you’ll definitely want to add these to your breakfast smoothie to help your body feel better after a night out with the friends.

3. Detox Water
Detox water can be prepared by mixing four miraculous ingredients; water, mint leaves, lemon, and cucumber. The day after you take in plenty of delicious but unhealthy dishes, you can flood your system with detox water to start feeling better quickly.
If you want to add something to your drinks and food that keeps your skin looking younger, repairs your body (after working out), AND gives you energy throughout the day, then I would seriously recommend collagen protein powder which you can check out here.
ALSO, this brand is specifically great since it’s flavorless (which is awesome since I hate adding things that make my favorite drinks and food taste horrible). So I would definitely check it out here and see how you feel and look after using it for a little while.
4. Aloe Vera
Aloe vera is loaded with essential vitamins that can cleanse your body after an episode of unhealthy eating. It’s a great ingredient to keep around to remove toxins and flood your system with the nutrients it needs.
Apples are a natural cleanser of the body. One can recover from a day of bad eating by eating a couple of apples as snacks. They also help you stay fuller longer which will help you cut calories in the day. Plus, you can add some peanut or almond butter to make it a little bit more enjoyable.
Broth is a great way to pump your body with nutrients while also making it easier for your body to absorb the vitamins and nutrients it needs. So whether it’s a chicken or fish broth, you might start to feel a lot better quickly.
7. Apple Cider Vinegar
Apple cider vinegar can help you break down all that sugar you took in from the Starbucks drinks you had with your friends yesterday afternoon and that extra slice of cheesecake you had the night before. It’s also a great way to increase the good bacteria in your gut which is essential to keeping you healthy and can help you stay slim. So definitely add a tablespoon to your water so that you can start feeling a lot better.
It can be hard to resist a fun outing or party with friends, especially when they’re inviting you to your favorite restaurant or coffee house. But you don’t have to feel bad about it! You can just as easily get rid of the negative effects with what you eat the next day. So give these a try and let us know what you think!
