Now if you think that making money from a blog takes a long time and only the outgoing do it (AND the tech savvy), then think again.

Only 3 months after launching my own blog, I was making more than MY HUSBAND’S CORPORATE JOB (with NO prior tech skills!).

You can start up a blog too and within less than a year see a good paycheck. The best tip here; make your social media marketing strategy revolve around Pinterest. Pinterest is key to success.

How to Make $2,000 a Week Off of TaskRabbit

Found from The Penny Hoarder

So basically TaskRabbit connects you with other people who need odd jobs done (ex. House cleaning, deliveries, help putting together IKEA furniture, etc.). And the best tip I found is to be flexible but also charge a certain fee. For one of the TaskRabbit contractors, he charged $150 an hour, but he was also flexible with doing odd jobs like shopping or even construction. Definitely something to think about, especially if you have wheels.

27 Ways to Make Money as a Stay at Home Mom: Seed Time

Now I really like this list from Seed Time that gives great money making options for mothers. And I especially like the idea of using the NCP app (National Consumer Panel), which allows you to scan the items with your phone, and tell where you shopped and how much you spent. Then NCP will compensate you. Pretty awesome right?

Side Hustle Business Ideas You Can Start Today: Side Hustle Nation

Now I love the Side Hustle Nation with Nick Loper. In fact, his podcast called The Side Hustle Show featured a certain interview which got me into blogging (and got me making $3k a month). And I love his find on renting out a room or your house on Airbnb. This site is a great way to make a ton of money, especially if you live in a place that people want to visit.

12 Apps That Will Help You Earn Extra Cash

Found from The Penny Hoarder

Basically everyone has a smart phone, so this one’s easy. There’s an app called Smart Panel which pays you to download it and then let them collect data as you use your phone everyday. The basic idea is that they want to give your favorite apps, sites, and tech companies information about customer usage so that they can better serve you. I don’t think it can get much easier than that.

If you’re looking to casually make money on the side, or start an actual side hustle, these ideas found from awesome bloggers should give you some good ideas on where to look. Sometimes the 9-5 job isn’t cutting it, and sometimes being a stay at home mom doesn’t allow you to bring in money. But with just the right idea or even an app, you can start bringing in extra cash soon.

Now if you have any side hustle ideas or ways to bring in some easy money, let me know in the comments below! I’d love to hear about them!

  1. May I just say what a comfort to discover somebody that really understands what they
are discussing over the internet. You actually realize how to
bring a problem to light and make it important. More people need to look at this and understand this side of your story.
I was surprised that you are not more popular because
you most certainly possess the gift.

  2. The penny hoarder also talks a lot about inbox dollars and swagbucks. With inbox dollars, users can cash in when they hit the $30 mark and request a check ($3 processing fee), debit card (I think a $5 fee and is reloadable with future cash ins) or gift cards (no fee). With swagbucks, every 100 points is a $1 and can get cards from $1 (100sb)-$500 (50,000) including visa (free if you accept the code to only use online or a $5 fee to request a physical card to use in stores or online), Amazon, Walmart, IHOP and many many more, they also put sales on some gift cards every month, requiring less sb than the standard amount. This is all if you are accessing these sites from PC or laptop. Their apps can help to earn extra but their rewards aren’t as great as accessing the rewards on PC or laptop. they both also offer referral bonuses of 10%, swagbucks also has a referral bonus if both parties reach 300sb in that month of the referral so the referral should be sent and the other be signed up early in the month and be sure to make the daily goal at least a few days a week to reach the 300 and bonus and to earn a bonus for each daily goal made ( there are 2 daily goals but only need to reach the 1st goal to earn the monthly bonus ( accessible from the 1st-15th the following month from the desktop version)
