Whether you’ve just started the process of losing weight or you’re locking in your gains, adopting healthy lifestyle habits is so important.

And when it comes to the food you eat, this probably has the biggest effect on whether you’ll continue to lose weight or not. But you don’t need to go on some extreme diet to make it work! In fact, you just need to start putting more whole foods into your weekly meal plan, and add more nutrients into your overall diet.

And a great way to do that is to have a helpful list of healthy snacks for weight loss.

These are nutritious snacks that’ll help you manage your hunger and satisfy your cravings. So if you want to make even more healthy choices, and you don’t want to reach for a bag of chips when you’re getting those midday hunger pangs, then here are some healthy snack ideas you can try this week!

1. Cottage Cheese Toast With Berries

The cottage cheese provides you with healthy fats and protein, while the berries and whole grain toast adds a good amount of fiber. And having all three of these elements is great for losing weight and keeping you full.

2. Almonds and Blueberries

If you’re looking for good low calorie snacks to try this week, then this is an easy one! With basically no prep time, you can enjoy a small plate of almonds which have filling fiber, and blueberries which are high in antioxidants. It’s a great low carb snack that tastes good and is fun to munch on.

Just make sure to do proper portion control since almonds are high in calorie!

3. Greek Yogurt Bowl

Greek yogurt bowls are a fun, delicious, and aesthetically pleasing way to stay satisfied. And they’re so versatile! So whether you want to add a bit of chocolate, a nut butter, some berries, or another healthy ingredient, it’s a satisfying snack that’ll help you with weight management.

But I do need to say this again. Make sure to measure things out and count your calories. Even though it’s one of those great healthy choices you can enjoy in the week, the calories really do add up.

This is one of the healthy snacks my sister who used to compete in beauty pageants showed me.

Just top some yogurt with some bananas and cinnamon and you have a simple, light snack that’ll help you stay on top of your weight loss goals. Also, it’s super tasty and in my opinion, one of the best healthy snacks on this list!

If you’re looking for a savory, filling snack to enjoy at home or at work, then creamy hummus and fiber rich veggies are a great option!

Hummus is a plant-based protein since it’s made with chickpeas, and protein is great at helping you feel full.

6. Chia Seed Pudding

I love chia seed pudding since you can batch make it at the beginning of the week or just make one portion the night before. It’s an ideal nutritious snack since it’s filled with fiber and vitamins.

Just let it soak in a plant based milk, add any healthy ingredient you think would taste great, and you’re all set.

7. Quick Boiled Eggs

Honestly, this is one of the best snacks for weight loss when it comes to convenience.

The veggies and fruit will be packed with plenty of vitamins, the cheese gives you the protein and calcium you need, and the whole grain crackers will add fiber to your snack.

This is one of my favorite healthy snacks! Just get some whole grain or sourdough bread, toast it, top it with some avocado, and finish it off with sriracha sauce.

It has a lot of flavor, healthy fats, and good fiber.

Pro Tip: If you wanna make it for breakfast, add an egg (sunny side up). It’s so good!

10. Dark Chocolate and Dates
