A photo of rainbow coloring sheets, all separate and in rows, against a pink background. And over the sheets is a pink rectangular shape with a title on it that reads, "Free Rainbow Coloring Sheets." And on top of the rectangle is a cute drawing of a rainbow.

Rainbows have to be one of the funnest things to color! You can do pastel colors, you can create an ombre effect, or you can just do the pretty and traditional five colors. 🌈

There are SO many options to choose from, and I honestly think that rainbow coloring pages are a great way to reflect on how beautiful rainbows really are.

Just the other week I was at a friend’s home and a rainbow prism was lighting up her table and I was completely mesmerized!

I mean, check it out. Isn’t it incredible?

It can be so easy to overlook even the simplest things in life, but I think it’s essential to focus on the beauty that surrounds us.

It’s important to be grateful for the things we take for granted. And I think these rainbow coloring sheets are a good way of reminding us of the beauty that surrounds us.

It’s a simple design, but it’s also very fun! Why? Well, for two reasons:

  1. I’m really loving the almost Asian-influenced aesthetic of the clouds.
  2. With more white space, you have way more room to fill in the page with fun details. So think hearts, stars, fairies, or even something as simple as rain.

With easy rainbow coloring designs like this, it’s a great way to let yourself or your little one have fun with their imagination!

I personally see these pieces looking great with maybe some soft twilight hues in the background. But of course, that’s more in line with how an adult thinks right? 😅

Kids are probably gonna think of something more colorful, so I think it’ll be fun for you to see how your child or someone else’s little ones use their own creativity to fill it in. 🙂

What color scheme do you think this would look good with?

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

This one kind of has a cute chunky sketch look to it and I’m really loving it. I could totally see this being done in some cute pastels of pink, blue, and yellow.

Or maybe add some sparkle and star designs around the blank space on the page!

But of course, it’s up to you and what you want to design with this one.

And again, with the good amount of blank space you get around the rainbow, there’s a great opportunity for you to exercise your creativity.

Oh, and one last thing, if you do need a little bit of extra time to maybe clean a room in the house, or practice some self-care, then the page having a good amount of blank space could be a good thing. You might be able to encourage your young one to get creative with the coloring page, and that might afford you a bit more time to take care of your tasks. I hope that’s an ok thing to suggest! 😅

I love the details of the sparkles around this one! It’s a very simple but very cute design for a coloring page.

Also, the sparkles don’t just have to be yellow or orange, they could be any color you want them to be! So they could be rainbow-colored like the rainbow on the page, or they could be pink. It’s up to you, but if I might make a suggestion, maybe make the sparkles your favorite color?

Well, whatever you do, have fun with it and enjoy this cute rainbow design!

This page is perfect for adding your own little characters lounging on the clouds. And these could be fairies, real-life friends, leprechauns, angels, or whatever you want them to be!

You could even draw them having a tea party or a picnic on the clouds! That could be such a fun art project for the kids. Or maybe if your child is having their friends over, you could print out the same page for each of them and see what they come up with. You could also make it an art contest! How fun would that be? 🙂

This is a more fun abstract rainbow. It’s again, simple, but definitely different than many of the other rainbows on this page! You could go with fun bright colors, or you could go for more muted hues. Maybe you could break out your colored pencils and give it that pretty minimalistic look with colors like sand, light salmon pink, and pale greens. It’s up to you, but I think that could look cool.

You could also add some fun designs inside the rainbow itself, and use some contrasting colors (or darker versions of the colors you’re already using) to do that.

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

Again, it has that cute sketchy design to it, and I love how it’s basically an infinity rainbow!

I think this could be a fun way to play with colors. So for instance, one rainbow could be a certain set of colors, and the other rainbow could be a different set of colors! Or, one rainbow’s colors could fade into the other rainbow’s set of colors.

Now the options aren’t completely limitless, that would definitely be an exaggeration! However, there are a big amount of options to try and I think it’s worth getting creative and having fun with it. 😊

I know, lots of simple rainbow designs, but we’re starting off with the plain styles for now. Don’t worry, we have some more fun rainbow coloring pages down below. 🙂

But I still think the simple ones are also very fun! As I’ve said above, you get to exercise your imagination and add whatever colors or designs you want around the rainbow. Also, your kids are gonna go through each of these simple rainbow pages and have a lot of fun with them. Kids don’t always need something complex to have fun. Or at least, that’s been my experience! 😂

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

Alright, so we’re not out of the realm of simple rainbow design just yet, but I think this one has a bit more flair to it than the others. I really love the heart design in the middle, and I think the different line designs are super cute! This might also be a fun place to try out new color combinations and the heart could compliment whatever other colors you’re using.

So if you’re using light violets and pastel pinks, maybe a light blue or golden yellow for the heart could look good. 🤷‍♀️

Or if it’s the holidays, you could totally do that holiday’s colors! Oh, I like that idea! 😊

This one has such a cute paintbrush stroke look to it! Also, it reminds me a bit of the type of art you might see in a baby’s room. So maybe this could be a nice one for you to color in and then frame on the wall of your baby’s sleeping space!

Or it might just be a cute design for your kids to try out. Either way though, I think this one might be cute with some pastel mint green and soft pinks!

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

Again, I really love the cutesy chunky look! Also, I like how it’s a bit lopsided; it gives the coloring page design a bit of a whimsical look for your rainbow.

This design might be made more fun with some extra clouds floating around, and maybe add some happy faces to those clouds! I think that could look really cute. 😊

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

Another fun way you could color in one of these more simply-designed rainbow pages could be to use acrylic paints.

I was reading somewhere that someone else did that with their printed-out coloring sheets and that sounded like so much fun! I think it’s always a good idea to break out the paints, they make things more interesting, colorful, and messy! But I wouldn’t worry too much about the messiness, sometimes messy things like paints can be fun. So in the end, it all kind of balances out. Except for maybe if your kid gets them into the carpet, in which case that would be a bit of a headache. 😂

I guess just make sure to have paper towels or newspaper lying around just in case!

I like how this rainbow has a sense of movement with the lines around it. It kind of makes it look cute and it almost makes the rainbow feel like it’s alive… just a little bit. 😅

Oh, I also had an idea. What if you made the clouds a rainbow color too? It could be a good way to challenge you or your child’s creative skills. Could be fun! 🙂

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

Again, really love the cute sketchy look of this one. It’s still reminding me of the kind of framed art pieces you’d see in a baby’s bedroom. There’s just something so innocent looking about it!

And if you haven’t guessed by now, I’m very partial to pastels and I’m going to suggest using pastels on this again. 😂

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

This one is once again simple (I promise, we’re almost out of the simple color page designs!), but I love the cute dashed design look. It almost reminds me of stitchwork on a blanket. In fact, this design might be a simple stitchwork project for one of your older children. You never know, they might like the idea and it’s just another way for them to grow in their creativity. 🙂

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

I love how this has almost the look of a rainbow that was designed by a small child. And that’s not an insult, I promise! I just think it looks really cute and almost innocent.

Also, with the small spaces in between each of the different parts of the rainbow, this might be a good challenge for your child to color between the lines and not go over them!

Like the first one, I’m really liking how the clouds almost have a bit of an Asian-inspired design. It’s simple and cute and it could be a fun design to use around Lunar New Year! 🧧

And with just a quick Google search, you can find some fun designs to do for that time of year. But hey, that’s just my idea! You can of course do whatever design you want and have fun with it. 🙂

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

I love the depth of the clouds in this one, which also makes me think, why not have your kids try shading in the clouds of the other rainbow coloring sheets? It could be a fun way to see their creativity! You could also challenge them to shade them in with raincloud colors, or even sunset colors!

Or they could just simply do any type of color combination they want! Either way, it’s a fun way to have them practice their art skills and have even more fun with coloring. 💕

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

The polka dots are so cute in this one! I think I would personally have a lot of fun coloring this rainbow design in. It’s very cute and simple and I might try coloring the background with one color. But I would have it start off dark at the top, and then lighten as it comes down the page. I think that could be a fun way to try out a new coloring style for you or your child (or whoever you give these coloring sheets to).

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

Ugh, I think the stars and the cute chunky look make this page so adorable! I know it’s another simple design but it’s a fun simple design. I can also see this having pretty warm colors to fill it in!

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

Another cute chunky design! 😂 But I really do like these and I love how this one has pretty hearts. You can make all of the hearts the same color or you can make them different colors. Honestly, there are so many options with this one and I think your child will have fun with it.

This could also be a good Valentine’s Day design, but that’s just my opinion. 🙂

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

This one reminds me of one of those nursery mobiles, so this could be a cute one to color in yourself and hang on your baby’s wall. Or it’s just a fun design in general for anyone to color!

I also feel that this one could be fun to color in with either bright colors, such as sunrise colors, or deep calming cool colors. But either way, it’s a good one to try!

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

Alright, we’re starting to get into some of the more fun rainbow coloring pages! 🥳

I love the fact that there are pretty flowers you can color in. I think I see them being colored in with a pretty magenta or a nice warm pink! This is also a good one to have your kids do for when spring rolls around. Maybe they could also create their own flower designs around the rainbow!

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

A very similar design, but still very pretty! I think it’s a good way to have your kids exercise their creativity by coming up with a new look for this one. You could also have them draw some fairies floating around the plants and watering them, or maybe that’s a bit too silly. 😅 Either way, it’s gonna look cute however they choose to color it in. ❤️

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

I really love this kind of kawaii-style chunky rainbow page! It’s not a complex design, but it’s very cute and a fun one to sit down with a hot cup of creamy coffee and do with your kids.

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

This one reminds me a bit of a slide. Maybe you or your kids could draw their own character sliding down it with their arms in the air! Or you could have the colors continue running past where the design stops and hits the bottom of the page like a rainbow waterfall!

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

This one also reminds me of a slide, but the big kind you see in county fairs that are super colorful! Maybe you could use that as inspiration for how you or your child will color in this rainbow coloring sheet!

You could quickly do a Google search for colorful fair slides and then let that determine what colors you choose. I think it’s a fun way to get creative. 😃

More pretty and cute baby room-style coloring sheets! And if you missed what I said above, basically I was thinking about how this kind of rough paintbrush design reminds me of the cute soft-colored wall art pieces you’d see in a baby’s room. And if you see it that way too, then this might be a nice one to color in yourself with colored pencils or paint and hang on your baby’s wall! 💕

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

The first thing my brain thinks of when I see this coloring page is something getting ready for takeoff! And I think this star followed by the rainbow is such a cute shooting star design!

It kind of also reminds me of Nyan Cat from the early twenty-teens. And I get it, it’s not a cat, it’s a star, but it has the same kind of look with the cute rainbow following behind. 🙂

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

This reminds me a bit of a slide as well, so it could be fun for your kids to draw their characters sliding down it! Or they might not see it as a slide at all. In fact, they could draw their characters kind of just riding on the rainbow tail of the star. Either way, I think they’ll have fun with this one! 😊

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

I really love how high up in the atmosphere this one looks, and I think the birds kind of give it that feel. It also kind of has a bit of a relaxing look to it which I really appreciate it. I could see myself sitting down with a hot cup of tea to color this in on a slow afternoon.

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

Ok, NOW we’re getting into some of the more fun rainbow coloring pages! I really love the ones that have cute faces on the clouds! And your child could also have them talking to each other if they wanted! 💕

These ones look like they’re best friends or one of them just told a funny joke! Maybe you could challenge your child to have one of them tell the other a joke that’s making them laugh. See what they come up with!

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

This one kind of reminds me of two moms hanging out with their little ones! Or maybe that’s just me. 😂 Either way, this one is a super cute page for either you or your kids to try out!

You could also have your kids draw their own smaller clouds drifting around the blank parts of the page. 🙂

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

This one is so sweet! I love how it looks like they’re happy to bring rain and make the flowers bloom!

This could also be a good tool for showing your child how the seasons work and why flowers bloom in the spring. And then once you’re done teaching them, they get rewarded with this cute coloring page!

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

The clouds in this one kind of look like they’re best buddies just relaxing. It’s a simple but very sweet-looking design for a page! Maybe you could have the colors in the background be sunset colors and they’re both getting ready for sleep!

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

This one cracks me up! 😂 They both looked like they were shocked to find that rain had stored up in them! This could also be a good way for your child to learn about the different types of clouds and why rain clouds look dark and grey!

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

I like how this one reminds me a bit of the shooting stars from earlier! Except maybe this one is a shooting cloud? Yeah, I know that doesn’t exist, but for the sake of these coloring sheets, I think it’s a cute idea! The cloud kind of looks like he’s happy to be traveling somewhere!

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

This one looks like they’re just happy to be around! Or maybe they’re happy to have a pretty rainbow shooting out of them! Either way, it’s a sweet coloring page design that your children will love to color in with their crayons or coloring pencils!

Oh, markers are also a great option for coloring too!

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

I love how these ones look like they have a cute fairy wand! Also, they look like they’re having fun using it!

Maybe this is a good one to have your kids draw fairies floating around the clouds! Or maybe there’s a fairy that found her wand stuck in the clouds and the clouds were keeping it safe for her! Well, whatever story you come up with, I’m sure your kids will have fun with it! 💕

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

I think these two clouds might be in love! This could be another good Valentine’s Day coloring page for you or your kids to do!

The heart could also be a fun element of the page to fill in. You could make the heart a rainbow heart or just shade it lightly in the middle and then do a dark outline on the edges!

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

These clouds are either in love or they’re just happy about the fact that they have a rainbow shooting in between the both of them!

But if you go the love route, you could have your kids color it for your wedding anniversary! This could be a fun way of getting your little ones involved with such a special day. ❤️

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

These guys just look like they’re having fun being able to share a rainbow with the world! I’m honestly really loving these cute clouds with faces on them! You could even have them talking to each other, or you could also draw a cute character sitting on the rainbow in between them! 🙂

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

How cute is this rainbow coloring page? I mean this little happy cloud looks so adorable! I love how there’s a rainbow and hearts in the picture as well!

Honestly, there are so many fun elements for your kids to color in and use their creativity with. I think you could potentially print out multiple pages of this page design and see all the different ways they color it!

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

I love the fact that lightning was added to this coloring sheet! It also looks like the one rain cloud is trying to impress the other with its amazing lightning abilities. 😂

You could also color one cloud in some nice pretty light colors and have the one with lightning be a dark gray storm cloud!

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

With rain comes beautiful rainbows! This might be a good one to have your child color in and then explain to them why rainbows form when there’s rain!

Or it might just be a good coloring page for your kid to do while you take care of the dishes.😂 It’s up to you!

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

I’m sorry, but I’m in love with the combination of happy clouds, rainbows, stars, and hearts. It’s so sweet and adorable that I think this one deserves to be printed out and used multiple times!

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

I love how the sun is involved in this one! It’s the first one where we see that and I think it’s cute how she’s wearing lipstick.

Also, the shocked-looking raincloud still looks hilarious to me! I love how he looks so surprised that rain started falling out of him. Maybe you could tell your kids that he was busy talking to the sun and didn’t notice all the rain starting to form inside of him!

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

This looks like another cute idea for stitchwork that your older child might like! It’s a simple design but can also be done with fun colors. Maybe pink or purple or whatever colors they choose to do! Or they could just have fun coloring it in. It’s up to you both how creative you want to get with this page. 😊

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

I like how these two shooting stars look like they’re going around in a circle with each other. Like they’re both traveling in one continuous direction. It’s so cute!

Also, this could be a good way to exercise some creativity with color. One shooting star could have different colors with its rainbow and the other could have a different set of colors! 🌈

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

I think this is a great coloring page for your kid to do! You could challenge them to make each rainbow have different colors. Or maybe just have a pattern where 5 rainbows have different colors and then it starts over. Or you could just let them color it in however they want. 🙂

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

I love this rainbow coloring sheet so much! It’s filled with sparkles and rainbows and clouds and can be such a fun page to color in!

I like the idea that some rainbows have warm pastel colors while others have cool pastel colors! Or you could just color them all in the same way. ❤️

Click here for a bigger image & to print.

This one has a cute kind of sketch look to it! It’s a simple rainbow pattern design, but I think your kids will have fun with it regardless! Also, they could have fun coloring in the white space behind the rainbows with different combinations of colors!
