Dieting is never fun, but it can be even harder when you’re on the go and don’t have time to cook healthy meals. But thankfully there are some tasty and healthy snacks that are awesome for when you’re on the go. So check them out and let me know what you think!

Protein Bars

These are brilliant for the active individual. These little bars look like your average chocolate bar, taste delicious, and are also a lot better for you. And the added bonus here is that they will fit nicely into your lunchbox, pocket, or handbag.

Fruit for a Sweet Tooth Craving

Pop some fruit in your lunch box, or an apple in your bag. This way, when you get a craving for something sweet, you can have something juicy and tasty while still maintaining your healthy eating.

Nuts

Nuts are another great healthy snacks, so long as you aren’t allergic. And these can be put into a little container or a ziplock bag which won’t take up too much space in your purse.

Dark Chocolate

One of the most difficult parts of losing weight is avoiding the tasty treats that seem to tempt us from all angles. Luckily though, dark chocolate is scientifically proven to have health benefits. While it is more bitter in comparison to its milkier counterpart, dark chocolate may give you the chocolate fix you’re craving.

Carrot sticks & Hummus

Carrots are easy to chop into bitesized sticks and are very portable too. You also get added bonus points if you take a small jar of hummus for dipping.

Water

Wait! What? I can hear the confusion. That isn’t a snack, right? While this technically is the case, water can suppress the appetite while still hydrating. It’s advisable to drink a glass of water rather than turning to unhealthy food as this may satisfy your hunger.

Wraps

Wraps are another great snack that you can eat while out. Fill these with a lean meat, such as chicken, and veggies of your choice and keep them in your bag wrapped in cling film or foil. Perfect for when hunger strikes you.

Multi-Grain Crackers

If you prefer your snacks on the savoury side with a bit of crunch, multi-grain crackers will help you. These can be kept in little bags within your purse or satchel. Plus, the fibre content is great for your health too.

Eggs

Boiled eggs are another food that are great for you. These can be kept in small containers or bags within your handbag and eaten at your convenience. It really is a great form of protein that’ll keep you filled up.

Using these, you can make your weight loss even better without having to give up on tasty food for when you’re out and about. Happy dieting!
