Silas & Grace

When we first decided to travel full-time and become nomads, we really spent a lot of time planning and thinking about how we could earn money while traveling. I mean, the idea of moving our office to the beaches of South East Asia or Central Europe excites us but at the same time, we weren’t sure how to do it yet. But as soon as we learned how to work online, we worked hard, and made our dream a reality.

And if you’re thinking of ways to earn while traveling, I’ve gathered some great jobs that you can do anywhere you want. These are amazing work ideas that pay a good amount of money to support your travel needs. And with the right skills and work ethic, you can turn them into full-time jobs. So check them out and let me know what you think!

This job is perfect for people who have sharp listening skills and can type quickly. All you have to do is listen and transcribe a recording or video. You can earn $25 per hour or more, perfect for making a living online.

Sell Stock Photos

If you’re good at taking photos, consider selling your travel photographs to different stock websites instead of taking up space on your phone. Even if you’re an amateur, you can start selling photos online.

Also, you can print your images onto merchandise (like totes or shirts) on Zazzle or turn them into books on Blurb and sell them.

Start a Blog

Making money from a blog may sound cliche to you, but that’s how we’re making our full-time income. We managed to travel while writing and making great memories..

It just so happens that English-speakers hold one of the most in-demand skill in the world: speaking English. It may seem simple, but many people want to learn.

Teaching English in a foreign country or online (like on italki.com) is a great way to make good income.

Do Proofreading

Proofreading is a great gig that allows you to work remotely. If you’re good at copywriting and editing, start bringing in extra money and proofread full-time. You’ll just need a computer and good internet connection.

Social Media Marketing

If you spent a lot of your days on different social media sites, why not use it to make money? In fact, companies are having a hard time keeping their social media accounts up to date and creating interesting content.

Take over and earn money by managing their accounts. This digital nomad job requires minimal technical knowledge and can be done from anywhere.

Become a Tour Guide

If you’re outgoing and extroverted, this is perhaps one of the best jobs for you. Imagine living in a foreign country and showing tourist around your new home. You can make new friends and great money as well.

Work as an Au Pair

If you love children, this is the perfect gig for you. As an au pair, you’ll live with a host family in a foreign country, look after the children, and receive a salary for your work. It’s a great way to experience life in a different country. However, your free time will be extremely limited.
