There are probably times when you might feel a bit unattractive; we all have days like that.
And even if you have the right hairstyle, makeup, and outfit on, it can still feel like something isn’t quite right.
But thankfully, if you’re looking up tips on how to make yourself more attractive and improve your looks, I have some simple ideas that’ll help you.
These are some simple things that’ll make you look better and they really don’t require much time and effort. They’re just easy ways to grow your confidence and work on self-care and love.
So try doing something to make yourself look good (and feel good too!). You don’t have to spend hours in front of the mirror, you just need to make a few changes.
1. Dress to Impress (Yourself)
First look into clothing that works with your body type. I promise you, this really does make a difference.
Then start experimenting with your wardrobe and see which style really enhances your look.
You really wanna begin dressing in a way that helps you feel good about your appearance (not how others want you to dress or according to trends).
And make sure you wear comfortable clothes, not something too tight that’ll have you feeling miserable later on.
2. Get the Right Hairstyle and Color
Hairstyles and colors really do make a difference in how you look.
Last year I ended up getting a hair cut that completely changed my appearance. I got long curtain bangs and a U-shape cut with long layers. You have no idea how much this leveled up my confidence.
So figure out what works best for your face shape and skin tone.
And one of the best ways to do it is to go on Pinterest and look up, “Best hairstyles for {round faces, oval faces, etc.}.” And then look up “hair color ideas for {warm skin tone or cool skin tone}.”
You’ll get a good feel for what you want to try and it really is a great way to make yourself stand out and look incredible.
3. Signature Scent
When you smell good, you really do feel good.
Use body lotions and moisturizers, or try experimenting with different perfumes to find your signature scent (or scents).
It’s also an easy way to be more attractive and even classy.
4. Change Up Your Diet
What you eat is what your skin reveals. So try incorporating different fruits and vegetables, proteins, and healthy fats into your diet. It’s as simple as that!
Eating a well balanced diet has so many benefits and will help you feel more healthy and attractive.
5. Find An Exercise That Works for You
Doing workouts regularly, whether at a gym or at home, can really affect your confidence.
And I’m not just talking about weight loss; exercise can also improve your posture and help you to feel so much better internally.
So try experimenting with workouts that work for you. You can look into things like:
- Pilates
- Swimming
- Biking
- Dancing
- Aerobics
Doing this will help you stay on track and not give up.
6. Stay Hydrated
Water not only nourishes your body, but it also keeps your skin looking more radiant and moisturized.
So grab a reusable water bottle and stay hydrated throughout the day no matter what you’re dong!
7. Don’t Forget to Apply Sunscreen
Seriously, applying sunscreen every day is so important if you want to protect against sun damage.
It protects your skin from harmful UV rays and even skin cancer.
Also, having glowing skin can help boost your confidence and keep you looking amazing.
8. Make Sure You’re Practicing Proper Hygiene
Of course, if you want to feel attractive, you’ll need to make it a habit to take proper care of your hygiene.
And while I know this feels like a given, sometimes we can get a little too busy and overlook certain things.
And to make sure nothing is being forgotten, here are few habits to check over:
- Taking a regular bath or shower.
- Washing your face before you sleep.
- Brushing your teeth twice a day.
- Cleaning and clipping your nails.
- Shaving and tweezing.
- Deodorant.
It’s a super easy way to keep fresh and feel so much better about yourself.
9. Get Enough Sleep
Sleep plays an important role in your beauty. It determines how you’ll feel or look the next day.
So always try having an eight-hour sleep every day to avoid dark circles and droopy or swollen eyelids.
10. Stand, Act, and Speak with Confidence
Confidence is incredibly attractive. It will always make you stand out from the crowd in a really good way.
Just by standing up straight and rolling your shoulders back, you’ll feel so much better about yourself.
11. Smile More Often
Make it a habit to wear your best smile as much as you can. It can brighten up your day and people will see you as more attractive and approachable.
Just don’t feel forced to smile when you’re having an off day.
While there are plenty of ways to be more attractive and beautiful, practicing these tips and hacks from the list above will definitely help out.
