I love charts that are going to show me exactly what I need to eat to lose weight. It’s like a cheat sheet to speeding up your metabolism. And whether you’re getting in shape for the summer or it’s your New Year’s resolution, this chart is a great one to go over.
For instance, green tea (one of my personal favorites) is a great one. As I talk about in my post on How I lost 15 Pounds in 1 Month Without Exercising, it has an antioxidant in it called Catechin which speeds up your metabolism.

In his book The Skinny Rules, Bob Harper goes into the different rules and what you need to do, as well as providing recipes for everyday of the week (even days where you’re super busy!) so you can start living healthy and lose weight. Now that’s awesome!

Indulge in moderation instead of cutting it all out. If you end up cutting it all out, you’ll feel miserable, binge, feel bad about binding, swear it all off again, and repeat.
Don’t focus on a huge goal, just the goal of being active. So no you don’t have to run a few miles, but taking a brisk walk around the neighborhood (or something of that nature), should be just fine.

Not sure why the picture says 100 if it’s 101 ways to lose a pound (maybe it looked better on the photo?). But anyways, the list may seem intimidating, but it’s honestly an easy rundown on things you can pick and choose from to burn that pound off.
So for instance, for some fast weight loss you can take a 90 minute pilates class, do a 60-minute cycling session, or 50 minute hula hooping (sounds weird, but I’ve done it with a weighted hula hoop. It’s pretty easy and you can just watch TV while you do it).

More lazy girl guides? Heck yes! So you know how I talked about getting burned out fast and then giving up and then repeating the same cycle over and over again? Well when you work out, you need to set reasonable goals for yourself.
Don’t tell yourself that you’ll lose 10 pounds in a week; if you don’t succeed in doing it, you’ll feel discouraged and give up. Give yourself something smaller, so that if you over exceed your goal, you’ll feel encouraged and keep on going.
