Hating yourself never worked.
I keep on learning this over and over again.
You can think all the negative thoughts you want about yourself and it will not help.
But you know what works?
Understanding that you will accomplish so much more in your life when you are kind to yourself.
When you gently remind yourself that you’re allowed to make mistakes, to be human, to try again, you are loving yourself.
Being the adult you wish you had growing up or the friend you need right now, can be the most calming thing ever.
So take a moment, breathe (maybe grab a cup of coffee) and decide to love yourself even when it feels uncomfortable.
Your future self will thank you as you choose to see yourself in a softer light. 🙂
