Whether you want to save your favorite clothes or just want to fix an expensive shirt, getting rid of clothing stains doesn’t haver to take a lot of time and effort. There are always plenty of stain removing hacks out there that work effectively in cleaning your clothes quickly. They only require ingredients that can be easily found at home and are super easy to implement. Plus, they’re all practical and budget-friendly, making your life a bit easier.

Sound nice? Check them out down below and let me know what you think!

Use Lemon Juice to Remove Sweat Stains

Most people like white clothing because it goes with everything and can match nearly any style. But with overtime use, sweat stains start to appear and are difficult to remove. But thankfully you can easily fix this by simply squeezing some fresh lemon in water and rub the mixture on the stained area. The lemon has antibacterial and whitening qualities that greatly reduce yellow stains and odors in clothing. This is perhaps the simplest and the most affordable solution for cleaning sweat-stained clothing.

Remove Ink Stains with Milk and Vinegar

It can happen at work, home, or school and can totally ruin a good outfit. But before throwing out your inked stain clothes, try soaking them overnight in a mixture of 2 part whole milk and 1 part vinegar. Both ingredients are fairly effective on their own at breaking down and lifting out ink stains.

Use Baby Powder on an Oil Stain

Oil stains on clothes are hard and complicated to remove. Luckily though, you can easily get rid of this stain by simply putting baby powder on the stained area and letting it soak up the oil overnight.

Get Rid Mildew Stains with Salt and Vinegar

Mildew stains on clothes are awful and annoying. But instead of using some chemical stain remover, you can use a non-toxic recipe.

Just mix equal parts of vinegar and water with some salt, and soak the clothing in the solution. The acid from the vinegar and the granule texture of the salt will do all the work leaving your clothes stain free.

Use Dawn to Get Grease Stains

If you think that Dawn can only be used in the kitchen, then think again! All you have to do is pour some Dawn on the stained area and throw into your laundry machine.

Remove Lipstick Stain Using Baby Wipes

If you’ve accidentally smudged some lipstick on your dress and you’re in a rush, get a baby wipe and remove the stain quickly. The alcohol in the wipes will do all the work leaving your clothes clean and ready.

Get Rid of Coffee Stains with Baking Soda

To easily remove the coffee stains on your outfit, simply sprinkle some baking soda on the wet stain and rub it all over. The baking soda has essential minerals that make it a great stain remover.

Also, it’s a great natural deodorizer, so it’s helpful in all sorts of cleaning emergencies.

Remove Blood Stains with Hydrogen Peroxide

Whether it’s on your bedsheets, clothes, or carpet, fresh blood stains are gross and messy. So try applying a drop of hydrogen peroxide directly to the stain, rinse with fresh water, and launder as usual.

While there are so many tips and hacks out there that help you get rid of clothing stains, not all of them work that well. Thankfully though, the ideas above have been tried and tested by many (including myself). And if there’s something that I miss or didn’t answer, feel free to let me know in the comments down below.
