Use Smaller Plates

One of the easiest ways to trick yourself into eating less is by using smaller plates or bowl whenever you eat. If you put a small amount of food on a small plate, your mind will tell you that you are eating a large portion and you’ll stop adding food. However, If you use a bigger plate and put the same amount of food, your mind will tell you that you are eating a small portion and you will automatically put more food on the plate.

Smaller plates lead to smaller portions of food, and trick your mind into thinking that you’re full.

Do Short Intense Workouts

A short yet intense workout is much easier than a long drawn out exercise. Consider doing high-intensity interval training (or HIIT) for your workout routine. It can help you shed weight fast and burn fat quickly. Create your own awesome pumped-up playlist to keep you motivated during the entire exercise and start toning your muscles.

Prep Meals Ahead

Do yourself a favor and prepare your meals ahead of time. An hour of planning can save you a lot of time in preparing your meals. Make it a habit to schedule a day for your meal planning and write all the supplies you need before going grocery shopping. Then stick to it and get everything you actually need.

Cook in batches as well and pack each meal in the freezer. Whenever you feel hungry, you can just grab and bring the meal to work. This will help you make sure that you’re eating healthy and ditching the fast food.

Tone Your Body While Watching TV

Try working out while you’re watching your favorite TV series. Doing a series of leg lifts, crunches, and squats can help you lose weight.

Whenever a commercial starts, set it as the beginning of your workout routine and change workouts every time the commercials come on. Make it a habit and you’ll be surprised with how much stubborn fat you can get rid off.

Add Cinnamon to Your Meals

Want to shed some pounds? Just add a spoonful of cinnamon to your daily diet. Cinnamon is a great suppressant that can slow down the digestive process in your stomach. Adding a pinch of it in (or on) your meals can help you feel full-up for a longer period of time, and help you avoid overeating. The next time you sprinkle cinnamon over your toast, beverages, pastry, dessert, or drink cinnamon tea, you won’t just get a great flavor, but benefit your health too!

Drink Detox Water

We all know the benefits of drinking enough water, but not many know a lot about drinking detox water. Basically, detox water is helpful in flushing out toxins in your body and keeps your vital organs in their best possible health. They’re also good for weight loss and helping you get in shape. Make one by simply adding fruit, greens, and other natural detoxing ingredients to your water.

Eat Your Breakfast

Breakfast is often claimed as being the most important meal of the day yet many don’t even eat in the morning. If you start your day hungry and thirsty, chances are you’ll end up unproductive and inefficient. And if you’re hungry, you’ll be more tempted to fill yourself up on unhealthy cravings.

Change your morning routine and opt to eat breakfast before starting your day. A simple egg recipe packed with protein and vitamins will do. If you don’t have much time in the morning, why not prepare overnight oats ahead of time for easy on the go breakfast? Also, a freezer meal works too!

Change Your Commute

Over time, you’ve gotten used to driving a car even if you’re just going nearby. So why not challenge yourself and walk or ride a bike a short distance. If your work is near your home, then try not taking the car. Do the same when visiting a local store, restaurants, or friends and family. Do a quick check with Google Maps to see how long it’ll take you to walk or bike to go to your destination. You’ll save money by doing this and shed extra pounds.

Buy and Wear Cute Workout Clothes

Ok, this one sounds silly, but hear me out!

A seriously easy hack to getting yourself motivated to workout and achieve your fitness goal is by wearing cute workout clothes. They’re not required to be brand new or super expensive, you just have to feel good (and comfortable) in them. This actually works guys!

Get Enough Sleep

Getting a good sleep can benefit you so much, and especially with your weight. While you’re sleeping, your body repairs its cells and burns fat from performing tasks like this.

Also, when you sleep, your body secretes essential hormones that reduces your cravings for unhealthy food. Pretty awesome right?
