3. Make an Eat Me First Box

If there’s food in your fridge that needs to be eaten soon, create an “eat me first” box. Just get a box from the dollar store and label it as “Eat Me First!”

Using strongly brewed black tea is a great way to clean your mirrors. Who would have thought?

7. Keep Trash Bags in Place with Upside Down Hooks

It’s seriously annoying when the trash can bag liner slips down into the bin as you add trash. So to easily get rid of this problem, use command hooks to keep the trash bag in place. Just attach the command hooks on the sides of the trash can, pull the handle parts of the bag around them, and you’re good to go!

8. Router Disguise

Routers are pretty darn ugly, but an awesome way to keep them out of the way and in disguise is to hide them in a fake book. Problem solved, and it just makes your home look so much classier.

9. Grapefruit and Salt Scrub

With the help of the citric acid from the grapefruit and the scrubbing action of the salt, you can kill stains in your sinks and showers quickly. Also, it’s so much more cost-effective than spending money on expensive cleaners!

10. Dust Fans with Pillow Case

Ever notice how the dust on ceiling fans builds up fast and just looks really gross? Well, an easy way to clean it is to just use a pillowcase to take it off. The dust will fall into the pillowcase, and you won’t have to deal with it floating in the air after wiping it off.

11. Multi-Purpose Bin Organizers

Storage bin organization is such a great addition to your kitchen. It keeps your pantry organized so you can easily find your stuff. Just grab a few from your favorite store, print out some cute labels, and keep them in an easy-to-grab space.

It’s probably one of the easiest life hacks for the home that you can implement this week!

12. Clean Your Shower Curtain in the Washer

You know how shower curtains tend to get filmy and nasty? Well an easy way to clean them is to just pop them into the washer and let it do all the work! Then you can easily take it out, hang it back up again, and let it dry.

13. Clean Shower Head with Vinegar

Just soaking your shower head in some vinegar for 20 minutes can get all of the grime buildup off easily. There’s no need to waste money on some cleaners with toxic chemicals, you can just head to your cupboard for the solution! Definitely add this to your list of cleaning tips!

And you can make it as simple or pretty as you want. It could just be a simple basket or like the tray above!

22. DIY Cord Tags

Tangled cords are such a big mess. You have to detangle and find which cord belongs to which electronic or appliance. So to easily unplug the cord you want to unplug, simply label them with little washi tape flags to identify which is which. Just make sure to put it on at the very end of the plug!
